Want to get more from your reed diffuser? We've compiled some tips and tricks below to allow you to get the most from your Só Soy Reed Diffuser.

 

1. Be Patient

When you first use your diffuser, it can take a couple of days for the fragrance to travel up the reeds. Have a little patience and you'll soon notice the fragrance fill the room. 

 

2. Avoid Sunlight

Keep your diffuser out of sunlight (windowsills etc.), and away from any direct heat sources that could cause the fragrance to evaporate too quickly. 

 

3. Need a Boost?

Flipping your reeds upside down will allow for a fresh burst of fragrance when you need a boost. Always wear gloves when handling used reeds.

 

4. Perfect Placement

Placing your diffuser in hallways and near room entrances will allow for fragrance to be released as you pass. 

Do not place your diffuser directly onto polished, painted, plastic or leather surfaces or on electrical equipment, as accidental spillage may cause damage to certain materials. As always, keep out of reach of children and pets.

 

5. Replace Your Reeds

When your reed bottle is half full, replace your reeds. Só Soy diffusers come with 8 reeds to be used for this purpose (4 at a time). When you replace your reeds it's just like having a new diffuser.

 

6. Size Up Your Space

Take your room size into consideration when choosing your reed diffuser. Smaller rooms are filled much more with fragrance, whereas larger rooms or rooms with high ceilings may require 1 or 2 diffusers (in the same fragrance).

Too strong? Smaller rooms can fill with fragrance quickly - consider using fewer reeds for a more subtle fragrance throw.
